As a buyer, you could select a property simply by calling the ads for apartments
placed on most real estate company’s websites, Craig’s List or The New
York Times. However, a word of caution, most agents create ads solely to make
the phone ring! Many of the apartments have some drawback that's not mentioned in
the ad, such as traffic noise or lack of light. What's not mentioned in the ad is
usually more important than what is. For this reason, you should be very careful
when reading ads.
